I was at 5600 meters, the top of "Toco Hill", an inactive volcano, savoring altitude sickness and so on when one of my co-tourists looked over his shoulder "it's errupting!"
Another volcano of similar height about 50km away was blowing out a lot of ash. Apologies for poor photo. Better to come later.
